Monday 16th August: Dear Diary, My Fancy Feast food arrived today, however Fern (my human) is still overseas. The person they have entrusted in providing me with my daily meals, although is efficient, doesn’t understand me and won’t open my package. Damn not having opposable thumbs! Thursday 19th August: Dear Diary, FINALLY my wondering human has returned! However she has not attended to my needs quickly enough – she has the audacity to unpack her clothing, well I put paid to that by parking myself in the middle of her suitcase and demand she remedy the situation. We opened my parcel together and joy of joy there they were… 12 of the most beautiful containers of delectable morsels I’ve ever seen, I could barely contain myself, I immediately picked the one I wanted, which happened to be Fancy Feast White Meat Chicken Tuscany, I’m ashamed to say, the tin was barely opened before I attempted to eat it straight out of the can. I’ve always seen others do such things and found it quite vulgar, however now I have some understanding of how they felt. The food was calling me… I can’t deny it and every bite melted in my mouth! Friday 20th August to Tuesday 24th August: Dear Diary, I was treated to so many Fancy Feast delights, each and every one of them we a taste sensation! I must say, this food critic lark is certainly working out for me. The two things I’m great at rolled into one, eating and squawking. Wednesday 25th August: Dear Diary, Shredded Salmon Fare by Fancy Feast… I love you guys; you certainly know how to keep an upmarket cat happy. Thursday 26th August to Monday 30th August The Fancy Feast flavours have been amazing! To my horror I found I only had one tin left! Tragedy however was averted; my human went shopping and added more Fancy Feast to my bare cupboard.

1st October 2010 Dear Diary Sorry I’ve been remiss in writing in you but I’ve had such a busy month and I don’t quite know where to start. My second Fancy Feast package arrived on a wet miserable day, personally I quite like the rain, but my human however acts as though she will melt if she gets wet and grumbled all the way to the letter box. When we opened the package I could barely contain my excitement as my human carefully unpacked my delectable cans of Fancy Feast, taking care to show me each and every one of them, for my approval. I have certainly been taking my new career as Food Critic quite seriously and have kept to a regimented regime and have trained both of my humans to ensure that every evening at 6pm another delightful Fancy Feast selection is served to me. I now have my process down-pawed; firstly I choose the Fancy Feast flavour I want to sample, my human serves it to me, I smell it, to ensure all my senses are used in my assessment, I then proceed to eat – with each bite there is an explosion of flavour. Upon finishing my Fancy Feast meal I discuss my thoughts with my human, however I don’t think she fully understands the responsibility bestowed upon me and often walks out of the room when I’m talking to her; and she seems quite annoyed that I’m now the popular feline in the neighbourhood, I often have visitors who pop in pretending they want to play, however I know they are just hoping I’ll be kind enough to share one of my Fancy Feast meals with them…. not a chance! So what were my particular favourites you may ask??? To be honest, I generally love them all, but since you asked my absolute favourites for this month has been Turkey Florentine and Tender Turkey Tuscany.

Dear Diary It feels like a century since we last spoke; well I’ve been quite a busy feline, so sharing my thoughts and feelings have be quite low on my priority list. Now that summer is upon us and Christmas is looming, my social calendar has been filling up quite rapidly – I have been meeting all my friends in the neighbourhood everyday to discuss world issues. My human has been quite perturbed about one of our neighbours who will call at the top of her lungs for me to come outside, agreed it can be relatively early in the morning, but for goodness sake, my human can’t even get her name right, she calls her spotty cat, where as her actual name is “meow” (hard to translate into human sorry). When my new batch of Fancy Feast arrived I was quite excited to learn I was to taste test a new range of Gravy Lovers! Clearly Fancy Feast understands my very discerning palate to entrust me with such a task. There was no mucking about; as we have established before, I take my role as critic quite seriously! My human opened one of the new Fancy Feast Gravy lovers Beef Feast, once again I shamed myself by diving head first into the bowl and didn’t come up for air until it was finished, I think my human was quite disgusted with me if the look on her face was anything to go by. The rest of my Fancy Feast wonders went much in the same way – however due to the warm weather and me wanting to fit into my summer coat (it’s a bit snug), I’ve not been finishing all of my meals; however this in no way reflects on the quality and pure taste sensations that Fancy Feast produces, more the fact that I want to look good for the girls.

Dear Diary,
Can you believe it’s been three months since we last chatted!!! I’ve been slowing winding back into things and am quite motivated for 2011, first thing on my agenda was to sort out the order I was to eat my FANCY FEAST delights and to provide my expert opinion. Although this may seem a simple task to most felines; it’s actually a very well thought-out process that requires the procession of a finally tuned machine and the commitment of a well trained athlete. Although I thoroughly enjoy everyone of me FANCY FEAST delicacies my particular favourites were the Elegant Medleys range, in particular Wild Salmon Florentine and Shredded White Meat Chicken Fare; I even invited one of my local girlfriends in for a meal whilst my human was meant to be out, imagine our surprise when she snuck up behind us as we were enjoying a private dinner together – however thanks to FANCY FEAST, I am quite popular with that feline now! It worked so well I’m considering inviting over the pedigree Norwegian Forest Cat that I’ve been trying to impress; I just have to work out which FANCY FEAST flavour would satisfy her upper class palette.
