Our cat, Jacky, is a magnificent, chic, black, half-Siamese whose ancestors once padded the marble floors of the palace of the King of Siam.
Charged with guarding the royal treasure, they slept with their tails bent around the gold. With his kinked tail held high, our cat struts regally into the kitchen each evening and demands a meal befitting a King.
After a hard day spent guarding his realm, hunting, or just curled in his favourite chair, our cat wants a fancy feast. Only the Elegant Medley range will do. He is a fancy feast connoisseur and demands the finest of cuisines: Turkey and Yellowfin Tuna in delicate sauces and savoury broths are his favourites.
Stretching up on his elegant long legs, he claws the saucer off the table if his fancy feast is not presented immediately! Then with his kinked tail held high again, off he goes into the mystery of night.
Cat expects a meal fit for the royal table. He prefers the choicest of Fancy Feast delicacies, particularly from the Elegant Medley range, such as Shredded Turkey Fare and Yellowfin Tuna Florentine. There is nothing that can dispel a bad mood more than a delectable Elegant Medley, whether it’s caused by an unwanted visitor sitting in his favourite chair, or that simpering, pampered Birman from next door drinking out of his water bowl. The grilled, sliced or marinated beef, fish or fowl feasts in gravy, do not please His Majesty, however he loves the gravy. He relishes the enticing aroma and selective taste of the unique Fancy Feast gravies, savory broths and delicate sauces. He is a connoisseur of all things Fancy Feast and gives credit where it is due. His Royal Highness must have a moist dish, so he is not truly appreciative of the beautifully created pâtés, such as the Turkey and Giblets, in the Classic range. He finds them slightly viscous and they stick to the roof his mouth. Although not partial to seafood, (Elegant Medleys aside), he does enjoy the Flaked Tuna, enjoying the wetter consistency of the dish. He has the most discerning palate and if he is not pleased with his feast, he will stretch up on his hind legs to the kitchen bench and demand the Fancy Feast of his desire.
Hi. The boss is busy so it’s Jacky reporting in. It’s springtime. It’s time for hunting mice, birds and whatever to eat. Still though, I want my Fancy Feast. I must have my Fancy Feast, especially in the early morning, when I’ve been out all night. Anyway, I was really excited to see all the cans in the food parcel. Yes, there were two Elegant Medleys for me! There was a Tender Turkey Tuscany. I love the Turkey Tuscany. It’s my second favourite after the Shredded Turkey. There were some Classic range cans for me to try too, and I really liked those: Tender Beef, Chopped Grill, and Beef and Chicken. We’ve got a stray cat we’ve been kindly feeding and he thinks he lives here now. He’s called Banshee because he yowls like one. He’s not getting my Elegant Medleys though. No way. We got Marinated Morsels and some grilled tins to try as well, and he’s welcome to those. I don’t like anything grilled or marinated. I do like licking the gravy off but I spat the bits out all over the floor. The boss got really mad so I suppose I won’t get those cans anymore. I don’t like anything sliced either, so Banshee got the can of Sliced Chicken Heart. I can’t wait for the next food parcel. Although I like trying different things, I really hope there’s going to be some of my favourite Elegant Medleys.
Hi. Jacky reporting in again. As I write this, I am enjoying a delicious Fancy Feast Chunky Chicken. It’s one of my favourites now, along with the Classic range and the Shredded Turkey Elegant Medley. Couldn’t be nicer. Well summer has arrived. It’s time for lolling in the sun and enjoying the warmer nights. It’s time for hunting moths, insects, birds, lizards, anything that moves. Often I’m out all night, but when I come in, I expect my Fancy Feast, unless I’ve got a stomachache from a lizard or something. Of course, I was really excited to see yet another carton of Fancy Feast cans arrive at the door especially for me. Of course, Banshee was too. I bet he’s the best-fed stray in the whole town. There was a Gravy Lovers new range for us to try this time. I really love the gravy, I tend to lick it all up first and leave the little meat bits which get all over the floor. So does Banshee. Anyway, leaving the bits seems to drive my boss berserk. I don’t know why. But I’m pretty spoilt I know. I often just can’t be bothered eating those sliced or slippery little bits. I often do just leave them because I know my boss thinks I’m the cat’s pajamas and she will open another can of Fancy Feast for me, one of my favourites of course.
Summer. It’s been hot. A little too humid for me. However, I’ve saved the boss some money. I’ve been partly feeding myself over the summer by keeping the mouse population down. But I still must have my FANCY FEAST. After I’ve been working all night, I demand a can of one of my favourites. A delicious tasty FANCY FEAST makes a lovely dessert to go with my mouse main. I was really pleased to see yet another box of cans turn up in the mail. Just for me. I do share though with the stray cat, who isn’t really a stray anymore. Because he lives here. I’ve really enjoyed all the different FANCY FEAST cans. I am not too keen on marinated or sliced feasts but I still like licking the gravy. However, my firm favourite still remains TENDER BEEF & LIVER FEAST IN GRAVY (grilled). It’s exquisite. Such a lovely rich dark gravy. I can only hope they don’t take that one off the market. Thank goodness for FANCY FEAST. What would I do without it?
